The compound
Mesterolone, sold as Proviron, is an orally active DHT derivative that is not 17-alpha-alkylated and binds strongly to sex hormone binding globulin. It is used less for growth than as an adjunct: by displacing other hormones from binding globulin it raises the free fraction of whatever else is running.
It is an oral preparation, taken with water and kept in its original packaging between doses. The pack as sold is 50 tablets of 25 mg each. On this site it is filed under oral steroids.
